Sale Information
BUYERS REGISTRATION
The Buyers number system will be in operation. All prospective purchasers are asked to register prior to the sale.
ONLINE & PHONE BIDDING
If you are unable to attend on the day, the sale will be conducted in conjunction with AuctionsPlus.
Please refer to the inside cover for further information. Phone bidding can be arranged through BJA Stock and Station Agents or your preferred agent.
VISITOR SAFETY
All of the sale animals have been screened for temperament and are quiet under normal circumstances, however visitors enter the cattle pens at their own risk. Children/Prams must not enter the sale pens.
OUTSIDE AGENT REBATE
A rebate of 2% is payable to all agents who introduce their clients in writing prior to sale day and settle their account within 7 days.
GST
All animals are sold exclusive of GST. GST is added to your invoice.
INSURANCE
Bulls are a valuable and vulnerable asset to your business. We highly recommend insuring your new purchase at the completion of the sale. Insurance will be available on site.
TRANSPORT
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to arrange their own transport from farm cattle yards at their own cost. There will be a livestock carrier on site on sale day.
HERD HEALTH
All our bulls are vet checked, semen tested and ready to work. They have received a full vaccination treatment schedule including Vibrio Vax, Piliguard, Pestigard and Ultravac 7in1. They have been drenched with Ivomec Plus and Paramectin Pour On.
Stud Sales
Tumbledown bulls have featured in the AWA Elite Wagyu Sale for the top 5% of animals in Australia. Since 1995 our carefully managed genetic improvement program has resulted in our herd containing some of the best animals in Australia. Our stud bulls are carefully selected using the latest Estimated Breeding Values (EBV) information from the Australian Wagyu Association database.
Wagyu are bred to marble well and that's at the centre of why the breed commands a premium price over other breeds. Our genetic ethos is based on producing balanced animals that excel in frame score, weight gain and marbling ability, to provide you with a bull that can immediately unlock extra value from your herd for years to come.
