Welcome to Tumbledown Wagyu.
Tumbledown is the headquarters of our family business and Wagyu genetic program where we continually improve our exceptional genetics through embryo transfer and artificial insemination programs. Over 25 years we have built a breeding herd of over 1400 high-performance Fullblood Wagyu females that have been carefully selected to produce cattle with the high marbling meat that Wagyu is famed for, without sacrificing frame size or weight gain.

OUR STORY
Tumbledown Wagyu is a 3-generation family-run farming business that started as a hobby farm and fishing block, and has gotten out of hand.
Initially, we started running Murray Grey cattle as a nice second income outside of the 'real' jobs as school teachers. Unhappy with the poor value on offer from traditional sale yard markets, we made the decision to take a risk on a little-known breed (at the time) that promised better value.
This has grown into a 1400 head Fullblood Wagyu business that we are very proud of.
We are always working hard to improve the land we manage and the Wagyu cattle we produce.
